Holsworthy Youth
Training
Training takes place for each team as follows:-
Under 9's In the Sports Hall Wednesdays 6-7pm
On the Astro turf:
U 10's Fridays 6.30pm to 7.30pm
U 11's Thursdays 6-7pm
U 12's Tuesdays 7-8pm
U 14's Thursdays 7-8pm
U 15's Thursdays 8-9pm

The Youth was founded in 1989; it has grown considerably with over 100 boys and girls training each week with us. Last season there are six boys’ teams and one girl’s team playing in the North Devon and Kingsley Youth Leagues.
The Youth Committee was formed in January 2009. Since then all managers have undergone CRB checks, First Aid Training and achieved Level One Coaching qualification also FA Learning/ Safeguarding Children’s Workshop. We also have our own qualified Welfare Officer
Thanks to everyone’s hard work Holsworthy Youth achieved Charted Status in April 2010.
We feel it is important to encourage and support individuals in all areas of football, so in March. 2009, we were delighted when one of our youth members successfully achieved his level 8 in refereeing. In May 2010 he achieved his First Aid certificate and in December 2010 he gained a Level 1 Coaching certificate he has since gone on to support the club by refereeing youth matches.
Our aim is to give every member the opportunity to gain experience in team work and discipline, join in physical activities, improve self-esteem and confidence but most importantly make friends and have fun whilst improving their football skills.
